The body holds experience in ways that words alone cannot always reach. In my work, attention to bodily sensation, response, and emotional tone helps bring awareness to what is implicit, unspoken, or held beneath conscious thought.
Many experiences — particularly those shaped by early relationships, stress, or trauma — are carried in the nervous system and expressed through the body. By slowing down and listening to these signals, we create conditions for insight, regulation, and integration.
This work is not about analyzing the body, but about learning to relate to it with curiosity, compassion, and respect.
Listening to the Body
Your body is a living intelligence, constantly communicating through sensation, impulse, and intuition. Even posture and personal style are languages of the body—how you choose to hide or reveal yourself, how you open to or withdraw from the world, how you inhabit space.
How you feel about yourself shapes not just your inner world but your physical presence: a body braced against judgment carries chronic tension, a defended heart may manifest as rounded shoulders. Over time, these protective responses can become more than habits—they can shape your anatomy, altering alignment, breath, and movement.
Somatic Experience
Somatic awareness may be woven into psychotherapy, transformational coaching, or psychedelic preparation and integration. Sessions may include gentle tracking of sensation, breath, posture, or movement, always guided by what feels supportive and appropriate in the moment. The pace of this work is always collaborative and attuned, and responsive to your unique needs.
